Volleyball season is coming to an end. I am both happy and sad about it. I am happy about it ending because now I can get more sleep and study/homework time because during the season I would get home late or barely have time to do the homework I was assigned. I will go to sleep at a decent time now which should help me overall. The sad part is not playing volleyball everyday. I will miss playing with my team everyday! I hope that I will be able to play with them again!

I am hoping to tryout for a club team so I can continue to play volleyball until tryouts start next year. I will practice with my friends to get better! I am so excited for next years volleyball season! I am hoping that I make the team so that I can play with the new girls that tryout! I want to play all during high school!

Reading Response

The first of the 3 stories that I annotated was Araby by James Joyce. I found it very interesting how the story was told with very vivid details but the main character is blind. I just find that an odd connection between the two elements of the story. The second story that I annotated was The Sniper by Liam O'Flaherty. The interesting thing about this story is that it is about a sniper and his brother. There was a huge plot twist. Dublin which is the sniper shoots someone so he can stay alive and then he finds out that he shot his brother. That was a major surprise. The third book I annotated was A Worn Path by Eudora Welty. This was a very interesting story about a woman name Phoenix Jackson. This lady is very strong and wise. She is a good person.

Hey Bria! Your story sounds pretty cool. But maybe you should expand on your ideas a little more. Over all the plot sounds pretty solid. Best of luck withe your story, Kate on plot

Hi Bria: I am glad you think it is helpful to read these short stories because I do too. My story will also be made up. I am excited to see where your writing takes you in developing this short story. I know it will be interesting. You are such a great writer! Nice post! Sincerely, Katherine Ann on short stories

Your character has a strong voice and you depict it well. On the last sentence of the first paragraph fix 'Its' to 'it's'. Good Luck, Martine ✿ on Claire's Thoughts

Hi Bria! I really enjoyed your first paragraph. It really sounded like someone's thoughts! I like Teen Wolf too. It is so good! What other characteristics makes your character unique? Best Wishes, Katherine Ann. on Claire's Thoughts

Bria, I can totally relate, I'm also scared that people might dislike or insult my paper. The semi-public is definitely a relief, because less people will see it. Try to believe in your paper, and I guaranty that other's feel the exact same about their papers being public. Happy Blogging, Amanda P.S. I love the background on your blog! on e-book1 replies.

Hey Bria, your dialogue was very interesting! I could understand why you were protesting! Did this happen in real life because it seems that it could have. Happy Blogging, Omar Azmeh on Dialogue

I really like books like that too. Romance is really interesting because different couples share different qualities that make them a "couple" Please let me know how this is because if it is good i would love to read it and we can discuss later. on Reading Response

Hey Bria, I know how you feel! I've searched for concert tickets plenty of times in my teenage lifetime. Its quite a struggle. I really hope you get to go to the concert! Have fun! Katie on My Story
